Women in business:

Are you interested in becoming a Leader in your Community?

Are you a Leader in your community?

CHAF has received Federal Government funding to work with women in rural communities to develop skills to take on Leadership positions in the community.

To assist us we have engaged four leading regional women to discuss with us what has helped them become Leaders, what were the barriers and how have they overcome them. They are all very keen to share their ideas with other women in the community.

The program will run over 6 workshops starting with an introduction in developing Leadership skills and what is Leadership. Each of our Gust Speakers will then run one workshop each to discuss Leadership and the barriers and the final workshop to develop a future plan of action to maintain the momentum and enthusiasm.

CHAF is really keen to assist our regional women to develop Leadership Skills and take on the challenge. As an outcome we are hoping to establish a Rural Women’s Leadership Network which will assist CHAF to expand the Leadership skills across the region.

The cost of the 6 workshops is $50. But the value is priceless. Half day workshops will commence in September with each session approximately at 3 week intervals.

If you are interested in taking p[art in this first series of workshops please contact one of the CHAF Board Members:
